Postdoctoral fellow Shuang Dai awarded Band C Funding in National Postdoctoral Support Program

Recently, the Office of the National Postdoctoral Management Committee and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation announced the evaluation results of the 2025 National Postdoctoral Support Program (hereafter referred to as the “National Support Program”). Postdoctoral fellow Shuang Dai has been awarded Band C funding for her project “Research on Sufficient Dimension Reduction Theory and Algorithms under Complex Data Conditions.”

The National Support Program is a key talent initiative established by the Chinese government to strengthen the training of postdoctoral researchers. It provides tiered funding across three bands (A, B, and C), with all grants spanning a two-year period. The program aims to select outstanding postdoctoral researchers with innovative potential and support their explorations in fundamental research and cutting-edge technologies.

Shuang Dai obtained her Ph.D. in Statistics from East China Normal University in June 2024. That same month, she joined the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science (AMSS), Chinese Academy of Sciences, to conduct postdoctoral research. Her primary research focuses on high-dimensional data analysis and functional data analysis.
