Recently, Professor Jinyuan Chang was invited by Professor Amy R. Ward of the University of Chicago, Editor-in-Chief of the international top-tier academic journal Operations Research, to officially serve as an Associate Editor in the area of Machine Learning and Data Science.
Operations Research is the flagship journal of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) and enjoys an outstanding international reputation in operations research and related interdisciplinary fields. The journal is dedicated to publishing cutting-edge research with significant theoretical value and broad practical impact, and is one of the most influential academic platforms in the global operations research community.
Professor Chang Jinyuan is the Executive Director of the Joint Laboratory of Data Science and Business Intelligence and the Executive Dean of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Statistical Innovation Research at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Guanghua Chair Professor, and a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. His research focuses on large-scale complex data analysis.
