The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) has recently announced the evaluation results of its 2026 project applications. Our team has been successfully awarded an Innovation Research Group Project. In addition, Associate Prof. Jia Zhang has received funding from the General Program, and Associate Research Fellow Guanglin Huang has been awarded funding by the Young Scientists Fund (Category C).
Dr. Jia Zhang received his Ph.D. in Economics from the School of Statistics and Data Science, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, and is currently an Associate Professor at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. His main research interests include high-dimensional empirical likelihood methods and applications, as well as sufficient dimension reduction.
Dr. Guanglin Huang received his Ph.D. in Economics from the School of Statistics, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, and is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. His main research interests include time series analysis, financial risk management, and high-dimensional panel data analysis.
